Manville unveils first Victory Town marker. Why it matters.

~ My Central Jersey, May 10, 2026

“A Revolutionary War marker — the first of its kind in the nation — has been unveiled in Manville as part of a broader effort to designate “Victory Towns” along the route to Yorktown, Virginia, where the war was won in October 1781…”

“It’s a huge honor to be the first municipality in the country to unveil one of these beautiful markers,” said Manville Mayor Richard Onderko. “It’s an opportunity for Manville to take pride in its history and educate residents and visitors about one of the most significant moments in our history as we approach the 250th anniversary of American independence.”

Lukac used Lawfare tactics to go after our sitting Mayor like the Democrats used against President Trump.

After losing the mayoral election in 2023 to Mayor Onderko, Lukac made up a false accusation of forgery against Mayor Onderko and filed a police report, which was found to be NOT credible. Read the full report HERE.

Lukac Fired a Whistleblower and Here’s Why He Did IT - In His Own Words

During his time on council in 2019, Joe Lukac fired a “whistleblower,” our former Borough Administrator, who uncovered corrupt practices at Borough Hall. His reasoning for terminating the Borough Administrator at that time was troubling and a form of retribution towards the employee, who found evidence against Joe’s appointed Borough Attorney. The Borough was sued due to Joe’s actions and statements as Councilman. It cost taxpayers a 6-figure settlement. Mayor Onderko objected to this unnecessary firing and filed a lawsuit against Joe’s motion to fire the administrator/whistleblower. You can listen to Joe’s political reasoning here:

Joe's Reason as stated at a Borough Council Meeting May 2019

“I think at some point in a watershed they should have a limit. If you hit 30, 40, 50% impervious [cover], you shut it down, there's no more development.” - Mayor Onderko to Alex Zdan, New 12
